Out Of Print refers to the ways in which emerging technologies have challenged practice and how practice has, in turn, adapted through interrogation and reflection. The scope of the work from the five exhibitors moves from typographic elements and traditions of letterpress through comic books, landscape photography and international foraging, through to the interface between digital media, optics and colour theory.
This exhibition features work from Marc Baines, Edwin Pickstone, Steve Rigley, Andy Stark and Paul Stickley who together represent the Out Of Print Research Cluster at the Glasgow School of Art.

SILVERSMITHING AND JEWELLERY: GLIMPSES

We absorb information in many different ways, whether through the deliberate practice of research or the fleeting subliminal observation. This constant information gathering impacts on how we subsequently generate ideas and this exhibition explores some of those moments.

The Atrium presents a group exhibition by the five resident artists in the Silversmithing and Jewellery Department at The Glasgow School of Art.
This eclectic display will feature a wide variety of approaches to working with precious metals, steel, enamels, textiles and plastic.
